2001 to 2006 : Shah Alam

Late 2000, the band was going slow and almost ended. I was working in Port Dickson and then in Kodai Sopan, Seremban. Toleb and Shimi was studying in ITM Shah Alam while Amir was busy in Kuala Lumpur. We jammed couple of times but the band was going nowhere. It hit me that in order to keep Pusher alive, i had to move much nearer to the other guys.

So in 2001, I decided to continue my studies in Shah Alam where i squatted at the hostel and then hanged out at Shimi's place,the 401 house. Toleb then rented there and i made my move. We started to hang out and jam for free at a studio where Lalok(Disgruntled)'s was working, almost every night. Yuen, Chem (Toxin 99%), Ijam, Pagurl, Inan etc, the guys from Shimi's other band, Freygyle and most of the guys from the Taiping scene stayed with us. Together we formed the KNOT Records Collective, where everybody hanging there had to donate RM1.00 a day, for future plans for bands. Joe Kidd(Carburetor Dung) helped us by doing us a website.

2002, Pusher recorded The Empunkyar Strikes Back EP at Monkey Room Studio. It was mixed and mastered by Ah Tham and Yandsen (Moxuan) and was the first release by KNOT Records. Sold the CDr EP around and played gigs around.

Mid 2003, Pusher released a demo CD called 'The Single Piss' which was recorded by ourselves at the 401 house. We also recorded 3 other bands Freygyle, Insurgent and Stand Fusion for a Knot Record free CD sampler in sequence to the Non-Conformity Compilation.

Early 2004, Pusher planned to release another EP but we had to hold first to let Shimi to concentrate to record with his band, Freygyle. Joe Kidd invited me to play 2nd guitar for Carburetor Dung, i could'nt play guitar that well so i joined in as their new vocalist. Pusher postponed recording plans as for Toleb had to concentrate fo finish his study.

Early 2006, problems occurred at Knot Records homebase, the end of the 401 house. Everybody moved out and Toleb was lost in space. Pusher went hiatus.
